The Vancouver, WA Commodore Computer Club and Users Group would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Time sure flies when you’re having fun.

New Year’s Day is observed on January 1, the first day of the year on the modern Gregorian calendar as well as the Julian calendar used in ancient Rome.

With most countries using the Gregorian calendar as their main calendar, New Year’s Day is the closest thing to being the world’s only truly global public holiday, often celebrated with fireworks at the stroke of midnight as the new year starts.

Just a small reminder that our first Commodore Users Group and Computer Club meeting of 2011 will be on Friday January 7, 2011.

Looking back, 2010 was an amazing year for our club. So many awesome meetings, events and fun times. I’m sure 2011 will be even more exciting for the Commodore Computer Club.

Thank you for your continued support Commodore friends, it’s greatly appreciated.
