Today is the 4th of July and here in the USA we are celebrating our independence, so the C64 Club aka the Commodore Computer Club thought it would be a good time to show off the Fireworks Celebration Kit:

As an added bonus, we are providing the D64 disk image so you can enjoy it on your real C64. It runs great on the Flyer internet modem and disk drive emulator.

The Fireworks Celebration Kit was released in 1985 by Activision. It was programmed by John van Ryzin with music by Stephen Gaboury. You can even control the fireworks with your joystick plugged into port 1 on your Commodore 64.

Later this afternoon we are going to enjoy a nice BBQ, play some games on our Commodore 64 and VIC-20 computers, then when it gets dark, light some real fireworks!

Happy 4th of July from the Commodore Computer Club!
