Our Commodore Users Group meets the first Friday of the month at Pied Piper Pizza, a local pizza place in Vancouver, Washington which is approximately 20-30 minutes from PDX – Portland, Oregon:

The next scheduled meeting will be Friday, December 3, 2010 from 6:00 pm PST until 12:00 am PST when Pied Piper Pizza closes. People from the Portland, OR metro area typically show up between 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm PST.

When entering Pied Piper Pizza, head straight back past the dart boards to the private banquet room #3. Look for Commodore “Stuff”. If you can’t find it, ask someone at the counter.

Confirmed hardware, software and game cartridges that will be at the December 3, 2010 Commodore Users Group and Computer Club meeting:

  • Commodore 128DCR (C128DCR) with built-in 1571 disk drive
  • Commodore SX-64 (Executive 64) computer
  • Multiple 1702 and 1084 Commodore color monitors
  • MSD SD-2 Super Disk Drive (22 second verified backups)
  • Original Commodore 64 (breadbox)
  • 1541, 1541-II and 1581 disk drives
  • 50+ C64 arcade game and utility cartridges
  • 100+ floppy disks with various programs, games and utilities
  • Commodore VIC-20 computer
  • 20+ VIC 20 video game cartridges

As always we’ll have plenty of space and electrical outlets (however extra power strips are always welcome), so feel free to bring your Commodore hardware and software to the meeting.

Since it was a huge success at our last meeting, we’ll have the buy, sell, trade and free tables setup again. If you have any Commodore, other 8-bit computer or gaming console items you want to sell, trade or give away, feel free to bring it along.

The MSD SD-2 disk drive will be on hand, so if you’d like to get copies of any software, please bring some blank floppy disks with you. If you don’t have any on hand, we can provide you some for $0.25 USD each (with sleeves).

Also feel free to bring your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend as they are welcome at the meetings too, so don’t let that stop you from coming. The more the merrier!
