The 5th annual Portland Retro Gaming Expo – PRGE will be held this Saturday and Sunday, September 18-19, 2010 at the Portland Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The Portland Retro Gaming Expo is an annual convention to support the hobby of classic video game collecting. The aim of the Expo is to recognize the history of home video game systems and their authors, manufacturers and players.

At this years 2010 Portland Retro Gaming Expo they’ll have a new edition to the typical retro, classic and vintage gaming console line up … Commodore computers represented by us, the Commodore Computer Club and Users Group of Vancouver, WA.

Our Commodore Computer Club will be showing off working Commodore 64 and Commodore VIC-20 computers. It will be really awesome to help give Commodore computers the respect and exposure they deserve and to also promote our Commodore Users Group.

Also, our Commodore Computer Club will be a vendor at the 2010 PRGE Expo selling various C64 and Vic-20 game cartridges, Commodore disk software, vintage Commodore magazines and of course Commodore hardware.

Be sure to stop by our Commodore booth while you’re at the Expo and say “hello”. You’ll be able to play a few classic games, rock out with Shredz64 (Guitar Hero for the C64) and relive your childhood memories of anything Commodore related.

For more information about the event, live auction, presentations or to purchase tickets in advance, visit the official Portland Retro Gaming Expo website.

If you haven’t done so already, mark your calendar for this coming September 18 and 19, 2010 to attend the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. We’ll see you there!
